Winners will receive a $1000-$1500 cash prize and the chance to work side-by-side with a master iron worker in a real wrought iron workshop to create their vision for a publicly-displayed sculpture.

A panel of six judges will choose two winners from the submissions made by university art students and professional artists, who will participate in different divisions.

The judging panel will be made up of arts district and community luminaries including:

Carolyn Goodman (City of Las Vegas' First Lady),

Tom Prato (owner, Artistic Iron Works),

Natasha Young (curator/owner, White Square Gallery),

Brian Paco Alvarez (LVCVA News Bureau),

Chris Saldaña (anchor/reporter, KLAS-TV 8) and

Jackie Brett (Columnist/Freelance Writer; Brett’s View of Vegas).
